I’ve seen some delicious looking Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Dip around Pinterest, but every time I click I get to a recipe that uses cream cheese… and I’m just not a fan! I set out to figure out a dip that would be just as delicious as cookie dough, but not have the cream cheese. And I think I succeeded!
The foundation for this recipe is the one you find on the back of Toll House Chocolate Chips.
Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Dip
Ingredients
- 1 Cup All-Purpose Flour
- 1/2 Teaspoon Salt
- 1 Stick Butter Softened
- 1/4 + 1/8 Cup Granulated Sugar
- 1/4 + 1/8 Cup Packed Brown Sugar
- 1/2 Teaspoon Vanilla Extra
- 1/2 Bag Chocolate Chips
- 1/4 Cup Milk
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients in a bowl and stir.
- I started with 1/4 cup of milk, but you can always start with less. You can add a little more milk until you get the dip texture you desire. I wanted mine a little more smoother than cookie dough, but not runny.
Notes
Wouldn’t this make a fun hostess gift? I pulled out my best southern drawl and made some “Happy Fall Y’all” printable gift tags to do just that!

Yum! This looks delicious! Pinning!
How cute to make these a gift! I’ll bet it tastes amazing 🙂
I love this recipe–but I think I might love those tags even more. Definitely printing and planning on using a lot this fall!
HAHA! I’m so happy you’ll be able to use them. 🙂
This is seriously close to the eggless chocolate chip recipe I made this weekend. We baked half and saved half to eat as dough. Both ways were really delicious. We used slightly more brown sugar, though, because I’m a freaking lunatic for brown sugar. I’m definitely holding on to your recipe because I know it will come in handy again soon. Thanks!
My hubby asked if we could still bake some cookies with this dough and I said I wasn’t sure! I’ll have to give it a try next time we make it. 🙂
YUM!!! I love this… I made something like this for the first time this summer and put it in ice cream… I love this idea too!! pinned it.
Oh yes! This would be amazing in ice cream! I am so going to try that. 🙂
