Hey Y’all! County Fair Season is upon us, so why not look the part?! For some County Fair Outfit Inspo check out what I wore to soak up all the fun, food, and festivities at our local county field days this past weekend:
I kicked off my look with a pair of high-waisted, button-up, distressed denim shorts from TJ Maxx. They’re super comfy and perfect for warm days with lots of walking. I paired the shorts with a corset-style bodysuit for a feminine flair.
For some boho flair, I added a pair of gorgeous gold rainbow earrings that my son bought me for my birthday from Fern and Arrow on Etsy.
A woven crossbody bag that I picked up from TJ Maxx went perfectly with the outfit. It was big enough to carry my essentials like cash, keys, and phone. Plus, it added that extra festival flair! I don’t usually use purses and I’m always struggling with my keys and phone. I’ve decided it’s time to start a collection of bags so that I have one for all occasions and I don’t have to always weigh down my husband’s pockets!
To complete the look, I added a pair of stylish and super comfortable cowboy boots and a straw cowboy hat. Fair warning: the hat came flattened, so I had to spend some time shaping it, but there is wire along the brim so it wasn’t too hard to do. But I definitely would have preferred having to deal with that at all!
Of course, when the sun goes down it can get a bit chilly, so I brought my favorite shacket too. I left it in the car and grabbed it once things started to cool off.

And I’m a lucky girl in that my husband loves to dress up as much as I do! We’re all about finding a reason to put together a fun outfit. He ended up with a flannel shirt with cut off sleeves, a trucker hat, and some distressed jeans:
From winning a cute stuffed animal at the water gun game to indulging in some burgers and even riding the mechanical bull, my county fair outfit was both stylish and functional.
