This post is brought to you by Mr. Sketch. All opinions are 100% my own.

The holidays are here and things are hectic, hectic, hectic! Take a moment to sit and relax and spend some quality time with your children (or maybe keep the kids entertained while you’re busy wrapping presents) with these Printable Holiday Bookmarks to Color!

These free printable bookmarks were inspired by my little reader who said that all of his bookmarks were getting shabby  I think they would be really cute doing double duty as a gift tag for a favorite reader in your life! They also make a fun classroom or group activity.

Holiday Craft Activity

Supplies:

Holiday Coloring Free Bookmarks
Scissors
Cardstock or Printer Paper
Gluestick (optional)
Mr. Sketch Markers, Colored Pencils, Watercolor Paints or Crayons

Directions:

There are three different bookmarks, all with a Christmas theme – a snowman, a penguin, and ornaments. The bookmark pdf file is available for download in the above supply list. These bookmarks are for personal use only. Do not alter the file.

Simply download the file and save it to your computer. Open the file in Adobe Reader and print it onto cardstock.

Alternatively, print the Christmas bookmarks onto regular paper and mount them to a thicker, colorful piece of paper as seen in the photos. Mr. Sketch sent me some of their new holiday scented markers and crayons recently, so we really got into the spirit of the holidays while coloring these adorable bookmarks.

It would also be super easy to add a tassel to these made with yarn or ribbon by using a hole punch in the center top. This fun activity can be as simple or complex as you want it to be!

The crayons are my favorite – I’ve never had scented crayons before so it was a really fun additional sensory experience, and I really enjoyed how the crayon went onto the paper. Cheap crayons always have a rougher feel, but these slid across the page like buttah and have a nice crisp color. The favorite smells of the packages were Santa’s Cookie (it eally smells like sugar cookies!) and Candy Cane. I think the Mr. Sketch holiday products would be perfect for a class gift exchange or even for a stocking stuffer.

Once we finished coloring our bookmarks, we cut them out and glued them onto cardstock, which we then trimmed down to size.
