One thing that many of us forget in our health journey is self-care, so today I am going to share a fun Self-Care Challenge in Bingo form. This is perfect for getting the whole family involved. Or share it with co-workers or friends that are also looking to make themselves and their health a higher priority this year.
Does reading that sentence give you an ick feeling? If so, let me be clear – It is absolutely OKAY for you and others to make themselves a priority! Making yourself a priority is not only necessary, it also enables you to give more to others. When you take care of yourself, both in body and mind, you are going to be capable of doing so much more! Now that we’ve got that out of the way, let’s move on to the Self-Care Challenge.
Self Care Bingo
If you find it hard to make time for yourself and your wellbeing, then this printable Self-Care Bingo should help. It is a fun and motivational way to remember to take care of yourself amidst work, schoolwork, activities, meetings and whatever else life throws at you.
Playing Self-Care Bingo as a group is even more fun! Have each participant put something in a pot that the winner receives – $5 to participate, a favorite self-care product, or maybe it’s a girls night out or a trip to a spa. Whatever the players decide will help keep them motivated and active in the game.
How to play self-care bingo
Are you sold? Ready to start making self-care a habit? Then let’s get to it.
There are two printable bingo boards at the bottom of this post. One is filled out with self-care ideas and one is blank. Pick which board you want to use and download it.
If you chose the blank one, write in an idea for self-care in each square. If you chose the pre-completed one, we’re ready to play.
As you go through your day and your week, mark off a square each time you complete one.
The first one to BINGO wins (5 squares in a row).
If you’re playing alone, make sure to have a prize for yourself – maybe it’s a bubble bath with candles and wine, or a little retail therapy.
Download the bingo boards by clicking one of the buttons above. Download the pdf to your computer in open in Adoeb Reader. Print out as many boards as needed. Personal use only. Do not alter.
And once more I will remind you that self-care is not selfish. It is how we grow and become better versions of ourselves. So take care of yourself and have fun doing it!
