When my friend Krista texted me asking me to help her with her daughter Everleigh’s First Birthday Party, I got so excited. You all know how much I love planning parties. She threw out the Minnie theme and I said “No Problem.” I immediately brain stormed the dessert table, which is where I typically start and together we planned the rest of the party. Without further ado:
The frame is the same one I used from my daughters Sofia the First Party that I got at Michaels.
The cakes and cupcakes came from a coworker of Krista’s.
The favors were Krista’s idea – she put them together and I designed, printed and cut the Minnie tag that she added to the jars. Inside are Hershey Kisses and Dove Chocolate Hearts. Krista used black rainbow loom bands to hold the fabric squares in place and hot glued ribbon over that.

Have a Silhouette and want to make the birthday tag?
Below you will find links to .SVG files of generic “Thank you for coming” tags. Download and load into Silhouette Studio – use the print and cut feature and you’ll be golden!

Follow my Minnie Mouse Topiary tutorial to make your own fun table decorations!
I also LOVE the Rice Krispie Minnie Heads that Krista made.
Even the cheese and meats got Minnie/Mickey Makeovers using a simple cookie cutter!

This stuff is addicting and everyone loved munching it – recipe is at the bottom of the post!
I designed and printed the photo banner and Krista put it together.
It has a picture of Everleigh from each month of the first year of her life!
I love seeing how much babies change the first year of life.
There were pictures EVERYWHERE! Krista made this number out of pictures.
I love doing this – you may remember the three I made for Olivia’s Little Einstein’s Birthday.
Makes a great decoration and conversation piece.
We also had a Paper Bag Pinata, which worked perfectly and was filled with like 8 pounds of goodies! The kids really got into it and filled their goodie bags to the brim.
My girl’s Minnie outfit fit in with the party decor perfectly!

Will you be planning a Minnie Birthday Party?
Do you like the pink and black newer version of Minnie or would you stick with the red polka dots?
