The Minnie Mouse dessert table featured a polka dot backdrop and a framed picture of the birthday girl. The frame is the same one I used from my daughters Sofia the First Party that I got at Michaels.
The Minnie Mouse cupcakes and cakes came from a local home bakery.
Do you have a Silhouette or Cricut cutting machine and want to make the birthday tag?
Below you will find links to .SVG files of generic “Thank you for coming” tags. Download and load the file into your cutting machine design software.
There were pictures EVERYWHERE! Krista made this number out of pictures. I love doing this – you may remember the three I made for Olivia’s Little Einstein’s Birthday. It truly makes a great decoration and conversation piece.
For a party activity, we had a Paper Bag Pinata, which worked perfectly and was filled with 8 pounds of goodies! The kids really got into it and filled their goodie bags to the brim.
I can’t wait until we plan her second birthday! I have so much fun planning kid’s birthdays, from the party tables to the favors and more, I take joy in seeing the party guests ooh and ahh over all of the special details!

So cute Kim! Must share with my daughter who is wanting to do a minnie mouse party for my granddaughter who will be 3 in May. Could tone down to her size and age. Thanks again. Hugs and blessings, Cindy
Love this! What size jars did you use for favors, im doing some for a friend of mine, i found 8oz jars, however its for a 2yr olds party, your look smaller.
These were just small baby food jars.
Hi, where did you get the fabric squares that covers the jar favors?
We cut them from a yard of fabric that we picked up at Joann’s.
how big did you cut the fabric? (for a 411 i found the same fabric in Walmart precut portions for .97 cents)
That’s great and a good price too.
I don’t remember how big, this was almost two years ago – but probably about 4×4 to accommodate the opening of the jar plus have a little hanging down.
How did you make the photo banner?
I made mine in Adobe Illustrator, printed and cut it out. If you have a Cricut Explore, you could easily create it in Design Space and have the machine cut it for you. OR, you could print out photos, cut the pictures into circles and glue those to larger circles cut from cardstock!
