I’m SURE you’ve heard!
Disney’s FROZEN is out on DVD now, with a price drop from $16.96 to $14.96 at Walmart!
Plus, if you want to save an extra $5, pick up a box of Eggo Waffles! There is a coupon for $5 off the FROZEN DVD on specially marked boxes.
At the same time that I picked up the FROZEN DVD at Walmart, I also grabbed the Elsa and Anna Disney Infinity Characters. My son and older daughter LOVE the Disney Infinity game on X-Box. As soon as I showed him the figures, my son was begging to open them. There was no stopping him! He ripped them open and ran upstairs to play the game. My oldest daughter walked in and let out a “whoop” and together they spent some time trying out the new characters… until they heard me and my youngest watching the movie – that put an instant stop to their game!
Why do we love the movie so much? #1 – the music. Hands down, this soundtrack rivals the classics of Aladdin, The Lion King, Beauty and the Beast and The Little Mermaid. Your kids won’t be the only one belting these songs out for days! #2 – It has a great story. It isn’t a typical Boy saves Girl story – it empowers girls and really has a terrific ending. Trying to keep this with no spoilers for those who haven’t seen it! We really enjoyed the comic relief of Olaf and Sven the Reindeer. Most of my kids favorite moments in the movie involve Olaf and his renegade butt! I also really enjoyed the dynamics of the two sisters. From the heart tugging rendition of “Wanna Build a Snowman” to finding true love and accepting each other for who they really are, this film portrayed what it means to have a sister.
I have two sisters and even though we are spread out in age (31, 24, 16) we are always there for one another. We text and Facebook on a regular basis. My mom has 4 sisters, all 1 year apart from each other, and I grew up watching their tight-knit friendships. Now I have two daughters, and even though THEY have a large age gap, 8.5 years, they are so close! My littlest looks up to her big sister so much. The love that they have for each other is super easy to see; not only real life, but in pictures as well. I will do all that I can to keep that relationship thriving as they both grow older!
To celebrate sisters and the release of this instant Disney Classic, I have designed a fun 8×10 print that would work well in any girls room that has a sister:

Have you seen FROZEN? Did you love it as much as we did?
Kim, Do you think Frozen is okay for a 2 year old or is too scary?
I think so, as long as you are there with them the first time they watch it. There really aren’t a ton of scary parts – and nothing like you use to see in some of the older Disney movies. Olaf and Sven provide a ton of comic relief during some of the tenser moments and the music is so incredible!
Totally agree with your quote! I love my sister…and I’m glad my girls have sisters.
We haven’t seen Frozen yet but I am dieing to see it with all the rave the reviews!
Such a sweet printable!
This is such a sweet printable, Kim! Love the sister bonds from the movie! #client
