There’s a backstory to this project that I have to share because it made me laugh and I hope it will make you too. Our good friends Jeremy and Krista have one sweet little girl named Everleigh. My oldest, Cassidy, was babysitting three year old Ev one night so the four of us could go out, but before her parents left, Cass and Ev were playing together. When it was time for Krista and Jeremy to go, Ev went up to her mom and said, “Cassidy is my friend. She has a pretty face. Pretty faces make me nervous.” And then away she went for some more playing! I was giggling so hard. Where the heck did that come from?! As it turns out, it came from Charlie Brown, which is one of Ev’s favorite cartoons (as evidenced by her Peanuts party). Naturally I HAD to make her a Pretty Faces Make Me Nervous DIY Tee. After designing the quote in Illustrator, I exported it as an SVG and imported it into Cricut Design Space, where I then used my Cricut Explore to cut the design out of Heat Transfer Vinyl. And in case you, or a little nugget in your life, has the same issue as Everleigh and want to share this sentiment with others, I’ve made the SVG file available as a free download at the bottom of this post!

I picked up a whole outfit for Miss Ev that would match the new tee I designed and I’m really hoping she likes it. I told Krista that she should wear it when we go to meet all the Princess at Disney World when we are there in November.

This is why I love making t-shirts and other heat transfer projects! Where else would I find this t-shirt that is quirky and silly and so Everleigh? If you don’t have a personal craft cutting machine like the Cricut, I highly recommend getting one. They are so versatile and will open up your crafting world SO much!
