Are you looking for last-minute Halloween Ideas for your kids? Keep reading because I have a fun one for you today! This Jack-O-Lantern Preschool Game is a version of my popular Roll-A-Robot Preschool Game. It’s a festive learning game and a great way to spend a little time with your child.

Roll A Jack-O-Lantern Preschool Game

Not only is it fun, but it is also educational, so win-win! I’ve had teachers use this during Halloween week at school and Halloween celebrations. I’ve also heard from daycare providers that have played it with children in their care.

How do you play the Roll A Jack-O-Lantern Preschool Game? It’s easy! First, download the printable game via the link below. Save the pdf file to your computer and open in Adobe Reader. Print as many gameboards and game pieces as needed.

Cut out the Jack-O-Lantern pieces.

Now that the game is ready, grab your child and get playing!

Take turns rolling a die. When a player rolls a number for the first time they cut the corresponding Jack-O-Lanter piece with that number out of the paper and place it on the blank portion of the gameboard. IE: Roll a 1? Place the body onto the blank portion of the board.

Players continue taking turns rolling the die until the first person to place all the parts are done–that person wins!

After the game is finished, players can glue their Jack-O-Lanterns into place for a bit of arts and crafts fun!
