Thanksgiving Day is full of family, food, and gratitude. Some of my best memories from childhood are getting together with extended family, of which I have a lot, during the holidays. There would be 25-30 cousins, and we would play games, eat at the kids table, and have tons of fun while the adults hung out, playing music, watching football or just talking. Now as an adult, I love making memories with my children and nieces and nephews. And I want to help you do the same with your families, so I created this festive Thanksgiving Scavenger Hunt.
This printable Thanksgiving Game is simple and fun for all ages! The Scavenger Hunt can be played in teams or individually, indoors and out.
Download the Thanksgiving Scavenger Hunt at the bottom of this post. Download the file and save it to your computer. Open the pdf in Adobe Reader and print as many copies as needed onto 8.5 x 11 paper. The list is made up of 14 Thanksgiving-themed items, plus there is room to add in your own items.
To play the game, simply break up into groups, or individually, and search for all of the times on the list. The first person to complete the entire list wins! Of course, winning isn’t everything, the fun is in the game, but if you want to make it a bit more competitive, you can put together fun prizes for the winner. The prizes don’t have to be extravagant – keep them simple: Thanksgiving Coloring Books and Crayons, Peanut Butter Cup Turkeys, or a turkey plush toy.
