March Madness is here, so I thought it time that I made these Basketball Pretzel Rods that have been bouncing around in my head. These are simple to whip up – anyone can make them and they take just minutes to complete. Make a batch before the next big game and I bet your friends and family will enjoy munching these tasty treats.

These Basketball Pretzel Rods are also fun for a sports-themed party or as a special treat for a basketball team. I used white chocolate, but you could easily use different colors of chocolate melts to match the chocolate covered pretzel rods to your favorite basketball teams colors!

DIRECTIONS:

If you prefer written instructions, read on:

Using a black edible marker, draw the lines of a basketball onto orange chocolate melts, set aside to dry.

Pour the white chocolate melts into a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave for 1 minute. Carefully remove the bowl and stir. Place back into the microwave for 30-second bursts, stirring in between until completely melted.

Dip the pretzel rod into the melted chocolate, using a spoon to completely cover, if needed.

Sprinkle on the sprinkles and place a basketball chocolate onto the end of the pretzel rod.

Once the basketball pretzel rods are complete, place them in the fridge for a few minutes to harden.
